Terms of Service

01.Account Registration & Security

• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
• Authentication: You must sign up via a valid email address or Google Account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time via the Settings menu.
• No Restoration: Once an account is deleted, all data and associated credits are permanently removed and cannot be restored.
• Forfeiture: Deleting your account results in the immediate forfeiture of all remaining credits without a refund.

02.Credit-Based System

Melogen Studio uses a proprietary credit system to provide AI music generation services.

• Credit Value: Credits are a digital-only utility. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for currency.
• Free Credit: New users receive one (1) free credit upon signup for testing purposes.
• Usage: One credit is consumed per generation attempt. Credits are consumed at the moment the AI processing begins, regardless of whether you choose to download the result.
• Failed Generations: While rare, technical errors may result in a deducted credit for a failed generation. In such cases, please contact info@melogenstudio.com for a manual review and potential credit replacement.

03.The "Zero-Retention" Policy & Downloads

• Immediate Discard: Generated music is hosted temporarily on the generation page only. We do not store your music on our servers once your session ends.
• Confirmation Prompt: The Web App will show a confirmation prompt if you attempt to navigate away from the generation page. If you proceed without downloading, the song is permanently discarded.
• Liability: Phebsoft LLC is not liable for any loss of content resulting from a user's failure to download their generation before leaving the page.

04.Payments, Refunds & Statutory Rights

• Payment Processor: All payments are handled securely by Stripe. We receive only payment status and transaction metadata (see Privacy Policy).
• Refund Policy: All credit purchases are final and non-refundable once used.
• EU/UK Right of Withdrawal (2026 Compliance): By purchasing credits and initiating a generation, you provide your express consent to immediate performance of the service. You acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to withdraw from the contract once the digital content generation has begun.

05.Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

• User Input: You are responsible for any prompts or lyrics you provide. You warrant that your inputs do not infringe on the intellectual property of others.
• Generated Content: You retain full ownership and rights to any music files you generate and download from Melogen Studio. You are free to use, modify, distribute, and monetize your downloaded generations.
• Our Technology: Phebsoft LLC and its licensors retain all rights, titles, and interests in the Web App's software, AI models, and underlying technology.

06.Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to generate harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or source code.
• Use automated bots to create accounts or exhaust free credits.

07.Disclaimer of Warranties

Melogen Studio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee:

• That the AI-generated output will meet your specific artistic expectations.
• That the service will be 100% uninterrupted or error-free.

08.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phebsoft LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of credits due to account deletion, or dissatisfaction with AI outputs. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for your most recent credit purchase.

09.Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
