Terms of Service

1.Account Registration & Security

You must be at least 13 years old. Sign up with a valid email address or Google Account; you are responsible for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Once deleted, your account data, cloud library, generated songs, associated licenses, and any remaining credits are permanently and irreversibly removed without refund and cannot be restored.

2.Credits

Melogen Studio uses a credit system for AI generation, editing, and audio processing.

• Credits are a digital-only utility with no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for currency.
• Purchased credits expire thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.
• Credits are consumed for each generation or advanced processing attempt (such as stem splitting), at the moment processing begins. The number of credits required per action is shown in the Web App and may change over time.
• Technical errors may occasionally consume credits for a failed generation. Contact info@melogenstudio.com within 7 days for manual review and potential credit replacement.

3.Cloud Library & Audio Processing

Generated songs, stems, and edits are saved to your cloud-based account library, which you can access and download across sessions. Cloud storage is a workflow tool, not a guaranteed permanent backup — you are encouraged to download your tracks to your own devices. Advanced processing (such as stem splitting) uses active server resources, and we may limit concurrent requests to maintain system stability. The Content Creator feature analyzes video descriptions you submit via a third-party AI service (OpenAI) to optimize generation prompts; you are solely responsible for the text you submit.

4.Licenses & Verification

Each instrumental track you generate has an associated license confirming your right to use the music, with a downloadable certificate (containing your contact details, for submission to platforms) and a public verification link (which confirms validity without revealing your personal information). A license is retained while you keep its song and is removed when the song or your account is deleted.

Payments are handled securely by Stripe; we receive only payment status and transaction metadata (see Privacy Policy). All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. By purchasing credits and initiating a generation, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal (including under EU/UK law) once generation has begun.

5.Payments & Refunds

6.Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

• Your inputs: You are responsible for any prompts, lyrics, or descriptions you provide, and you warrant they do not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• Your generations: AI-generated music may not be eligible for copyright ownership under applicable law, and we make no representation that it is. Subject to these Terms, we grant you the right to freely use, edit, distribute, and monetize the tracks, stems, and edits you generate and download — without additional restriction or fees from us. We do not warrant that your use will be free of third-party claims.
• Our technology: Phebsoft LLC and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Web App's software, AI models, interface designs, and underlying technology.
• Removal: We may remove or disable access to any content at any time, including in response to a legal claim or a violation of these Terms.

7.Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the service for any unlawful purpose or to generate harmful content; reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or source code; redistribute, resell, or sublicense the AI models or the service itself; or use automated bots to create accounts or abuse the service.

8.Disclaimer of Warranties

Melogen Studio is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that AI output will meet your artistic expectations, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated content will be free of third-party claims.

9.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phebsoft LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or stored library content, dissatisfaction with AI outputs, or any third-party claim arising from your use of generated content. Our total liability, including for any such claim, shall not exceed the amount you paid for your most recent credit purchase.

10.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
